Vikings Trade Target No. 2 for Cleveland Browns– K.J. Osborn

With the release of Jarvis Landry and not resigning Rashard Higgins, there is a lot of work that needs to be done in the receiver room for the Cleveland Browns. One guy that could make sense is trading for K.J. Osborn, who will be entering his third year in the league.

Osborn is cheap for the Vikings to keep around, and he was fairly productive as a third receiver in 2022 with 50 catches, 655 receiving yards, and 7 touchdowns. However, with Adam Thielen and Justin Jefferson already on the roster, the Vikings could be tempted with a decent draft pick to continue to bolster their roster with young talent in a position of need.

The Vikings spent a fifth on Osborn in 2020, so it would likely take at least a third to interest them and convince them they are getting a good deal. Given how expensive the free agency market is, this could be a great addition for the Browns as their third receiver in 2022.

Berry could then use his first or second-round pick for a number one guy, and pair them with Donovan Peoples-Jones for a respectable receiver room that can help Baker Mayfield overcome a bad 2021 season.

This trade opportunity makes more sense for the Browns than the Vikings, but with a whole new coaching staff, anything can happen.
