Browns mock draft Round 4 pick No. 105- Mykael Wright, cornerback Oregon

The Browns currently have soon-to-be 31-year-old Troy Hill playing the slot and could look to draft his future replacement. Mykael Wright is a well-rounded slot corner that plays in zone coverage just as well as he does in man coverage. The Browns ask a lot of their corners so having someone who does both is a must.

Wright is a great athlete that has very good speed and reads and reacts to plays very quickly. He also has experience in the return game which could entice the Browns after their special teams unit was one of the worst in the NFL in 2021.

Browns mock draft Round 4 pick No. 116- Kellen Diesch, offensive tackle Arizona State

Injuries hit the Browns’ offensive line hard in 2021 and adding an athletic tackle like Kellen DIesch would help sure up the depth of the position. Diesch has experience playing in a zone-blocking scheme from his time in college which will help his transition to the NFL if he joins the Browns.

He moves well in space when he gets outside in the screen game and if he is pulled in the run game. He is a leaner more athletic tackle that struggles against some of the stronger bull-rushing edge players. He consistently plays hard and climbs to the next level well, he would be a really nice scheme fit depth piece for the Browns.

Browns mock draft Round 5 pick No. 154- Otito Ogbonnia, defensive tackle UCLA

Otito Ogbonnia is a big strong defensive tackle standing at 6-foot-3 and weighing 326 pounds from UCLA. He is exactly the kind of large run-stuffing defensive tackle that the Browns were missing in 2021.

Ogbonnia isn’t very explosive in the passing game but he knows his assignments, occupies blocks, and clogs the running lanes up the middle. His specialty fits perfectly with what the Browns lacked in 2021 from the position.
