The third day of the 2022 NFL Scouting Combine will feature several players the Cleveland Browns should monitor, including these 3 defensive prospects

We all know the Cleveland Browns need some help at wide receiver and that meant all eyes were on the incoming class as they worked out on Thursday night at the 2022 NFL Scouting Combine.

Day two had some other stars come out as the running backs and offensive linemen got to work but the Browns will once again be paying close attention on Saturday as the defensive linemen and linebackers take center stage.

Cleveland has a huge need in the middle of the line and if Jadeveon Clowney isn’t re-signed, they could use another starter at defensive end across from Myles Garrett.

With that being the case, here are three names the Browns should pay attention to during day three.

Day 3 Scouting Combine prospect No. 3 for Cleveland Browns to monitor: Logan Hall, EDGE, Houston

Logan Hall is a large man at 6-foot-6 and 283-pounds and has some position flexibility. He can play on the edge and even slide inside. He came on really strong this past season with Houston as he had 13 tackles for a loss and six sacks.

However, there are some questions as Lance Zierlein says he might not have a “clear cut position” at first in the NFL and that he needs to work on beating double-team blocks. He even says Hall looks to be better suited as an end in the 3-4.

Saturday will give him an opportunity to show he has the athleticism to go along with the impressive size. If so, he could convince a team such as the Browns to give him a shot as a defensive end — and he could be in play in the second or even third round if they wanted to hit other needs first.
