The NFL Combine has come to a close and there were impressive performances by a variety of players that the Cleveland Browns are targeting to draft

The NFL Combine has been taking place in Indianapolis over the last week and the Cleveland Browns are likely busy at work on their drafts boards as they prepare for the draft in late April and try to finalize the placement of these players, many of which are trying to impress every NFL team right now.

It’s been well documented that the Browns have a big need at the wide receiver position as they head to the 2022 season but there are holes on both sides of the line of scrimmage which could also be addressed in this draft by the team.

The Browns have only drafted two wide receivers in the first round since1999 and though they have a need there, I wouldn’t be surprised if they were to target a lineman first because the wide receiver class is so deep this season. Cleveland could be wanting to bring in a more veteran presence by way of free agency. Chris Godwin, Mike Williams, and Davante Adams have all been linked to them as this free agency window opens up next week.

While the NFL Combine doesn’t guarantee success on Sundays, it does give teams more statistics to assess and try to determine what might be best for their team.

With a need on both the defensive and offensive line and the team even wanting to find a potential quarterback that could learn in a backup role initially, certain players at the Combine have likely stood out to Cleveland and other teams. Here are a few players that have likely vaulted their way up draft boards and the Browns will likely be in on the mix to grab a few of these players.
