After Andrew Berry and the Cleveland Browns got a good look at everyone in the scouting combine, here are three possible targets for pick No. 13.

With the combine now behind us, it’s time for the Cleveland Browns to really start digging in on their strategy for the 2022 offseason. There are quite a few holes on this offense, and some that need to be addressed via free agency, and some via the draft.

The NFL combine is always a big week for the top draft prospects. Guys with day three grades can jump up boards with a fast 40-yard dash, and a guy you had pegged as a first-rounder can slide to day two or three if they can’t bench press 225 pounds as many times as scouts would like.

I personally don’t love the combine, I’m a little more old school than some, and tend to trust the tape. But I get it, the combine is a great tool and Andrew Berry likely learned a ton this last week in Indianapolis.

The Browns aren’t what I would call “tight” on cap space, but with the club having an interest in re-signing Jadeveon Clowney and David Njoku (who was just hit with the franchise tag), a lot of their current space will go quickly. Remember, Denzel Ward will be in the final year of his deal, and the team will have to make a decision on Baker Mayfield before the start of 2023. The bottom line is, the money will go quicker than you think.

With limited cap space, the draft becomes that much more important. And with pick No. 13 in 2022, Berry needs to land a guy who is an immediate impact player or a long-term solution at a position.  After getting a good look last week in Indy, here are three of the top prospects for pick No. 13.
