The Cleveland Browns and Jarvis Landry parted ways and now the former is looking for a new home and these three teams could be just that.

After four seasons together, the Cleveland Browns and wide receiver Jarvis Landry have separated and now Landry is looking for a new place to call home.

When the Browns traded for Amari Cooper last weekend, they gave Landry permission to seek a trade. Landry and his camp were unable to find a willing partner, so he was released. The Browns and Landry tried to find a middle ground on a restructure, but that was not the case.

Landry now has the choice to sign wherever he likes, just like his best friend, Odell Beckham Jr., got to do in the middle of last season. Landry still thinks he can contribute on a team contending for a Super Bowl. Beckham won a ring in Los Angeles with the Rams this year and it would be the most-Browns thing ever if Landry went and did the same somewhere next season.

Jarvis Landry Potential Landing Spot No.  3: Atlanta Falcons

On Wednesday afternoon, it was reported that the Falcons and Landry had set up a visit. So let’s start there for a potential landing spot for the former LSU Geaux Tiger.

Before we get to how Landry would fare in Atlanta, there’s another interesting nugget that must be resolved and that is the fate of Deshaun Watson. Both the Browns and Falcons are finalists in the sweepstakes and the answer could come at any time in the next 24-hours. That will clearly be a major domino to fall that directly impacts Cleveland and Atlanta.

So, if Landry does decide to sign with the Falcons, he could have either Matt Ryan or Deshaun Watson throwing him the football in 2022 and beyond, who are both upgrades over Baker Mayfield. He would be a good target for either of the two quarterbacks. He would be able to feast in the target department, something he felt he should have had more of with the Browns.
