Cleveland BrownsRemaining Free Agent Target No. 1 – Jerry Hughes

The Cleveland Browns added their third defensive end when they traded for Chase Winovich, but they still need a second edge rusher to go with Myles Garrett. I’m still all-in on bringing back Jadeveon Clowney, but I’m not sure Berry will want to wait on him.

Another fantastic option is a guy like Jerry Hughes who is on the back end of his career but still can play at a high level. The former first-round pick from 2010 has spent the last nine years in Buffalo and was extremely effective for the organization.

Not only is Hughes a productive player, but he is also a veteran presence in the locker room that could be beneficial come playoff time. Oh, he also has played in every game nine of the last 10 seasons, something that you can’t put a price on.

I don’t think he is the athletic freak that Clowney is, but just getting the position signed maybe the route Berry goes. Hughes would also be a much cheaper option and could allow you to spend a little bit more money on a wide receiver, safety, or defensive tackle which appear to be the biggest holes on the roster at the moment.

Next. Will Fuller on the Cleveland Browns would make a ton of sense. dark

It has felt quiet the last few weeks, but you can expect things to pick up shortly.
