Cleveland Browns Round 7 Pick: Daniel Bellinger, TE, San Diego State

With Austin Hooper gone, the Browns could use some help at tight end. They’re set with the No. 1 and No. 2 spot as David Njoku proved to be a better fit than Hooper and Harrison Bryant has been playing well when given the chance.

Having said that, they could use a new No. 3 player to start grooming behind Bryant. Enter Daniel Bellinger from San Diego State with the first of two picks in Round 7 for Cleveland.

What makes Bellinger a great fit for the Browns is his ability to play in-line. He’s a solid blocker and could develop into a better pass catcher than what we saw with the Aztecs as well.

Cleveland Browns Round 7 Pick: Cameron Dicker, K, Texas

We’ve heard it before — never draft a kicker. But the fact is, the Browns are in need of an answer at the position and with free agency dried up, they could look to Texas kicker Cameron Dicker to finally solve the issues they have had at the position.

Dicker has a big leg and while he only had 15 attempts in 2021, he knocked in 13 of them. He was also 206-for-210 on extra points in his career.

Another reason he makes sense is that he can punt if needed. Dicker punted it 47 times in 2021 with an average of 46.8 yards per punt.
