Deshaun Watson shared a picture of his new Cleveland Browns jerseys on Instagram but may have had an Atlanta Falcons jersey in the background

The Cleveland Browns made a huge splash this offseason when they traded a massive haul — including three first-round picks — to the Houston Texans in exchange for Deshaun Watson.

On Friday, Watson shared a picture on Instagram of his new Cleveland jerseys. He had all four variances including the all brown color rush and 1946 throwback on his pool table with his No. 4 on the back.

However, there’s another part of the picture some eagle-eyed followers found as well. If the picture is enlarged, a folded-up Atlanta Falcons jersey with the number four can also be seen.

Before agreeing to the trade and signing his extension with the Browns, Watson and his camp were in talks with the Falcons.

Deshaun Watson nearly chose the Falcons

It was reported that Watson was close to choosing the Dirty Birds, who happen to be his hometown team. Originally from Gainesville, Georgia, Watson was expected to play for them or the New Orleans Saints as either place would have given him a warmer climate to work in — something he’s used to.

In the end, he decided the roster in Cleveland was too good to pass up, although some possible issues behind the scenes with Atlanta might have helped as well.

Cleveland is coming off an 8-9 campaign and they hope the addition of Watson will be enough to not only put them back in the postseason but to help them finally find a way to get into their first-ever Super Bowl appearance.
