Cleveland Browns Mock Draft: Young playmakers aplenty
By Sam Penix
Kingsley Enagbare stands 6-3 258 pounds with vines for arms at 34.75 inches. He’s had a mixed pre-draft process, with an excellent vertical jump indicating a great get-off, but poor agility testing means his ceiling as a pass-rusher could be lower than others still on the board.
However, Enagbare just turned 22 in January, while players like Arnold Ebeketie and Nik Bonitto, who will likely end up going in a similar range to Enagbare, are older, and the Browns may not make a guardrail exception this high, but we shall see.
TRADE: CLE sends 3.78 and 6.202 to NE for 3.85 and 2023 4th
Along with their sixth-rounder, moving down seven slots here nets the Browns an extra fourth-round pick next year.
TRADE: CLE sends 3.85 and 7.246 to TB for 3.91 and 4.132
Another small move-back, here Cleveland turns a late seventh-rounder into a late fourth-rounder. With 91, the Browns take Houston defensive lineman Logan Hall, a player who should be under heavy consideration if he is on the board at 44. Hall must be utilized properly as his 6-6 283-pound frame is slight for a DT, but he has the athleticism, explosiveness, and power needed to wreak havoc, and some teams may even view him as an EDGE, giving him the versatility that defensive coordinator Joe Woods covets.
Aside from having a cool name, Joseph provides the Browns with a centerfielder at safety, allowing them to deploy John Johnson III and Grant Delpit closer to the line of scrimmage, taking better advantage of their versatile skillsets. Joseph barely played for three years at Illinois but picked off five passes last season and has a great athletic profile.
