Cleveland Browns pick number 118- Otito Ogbonnia, defensive tackle, UCLA

Cleveland has got to find a way to stop the run up the middle, it was a major glaring hole in last year’s defense. Otito Ogbonnia may be one of the better pure nose tackle run stuffers in this draft and just what the Browns need on early downs. Ogbonnia checked in at the combine at 6-foot-4 and 324 pounds.

Ogbonnia has great strength at the point of the attack and knows his assignments well in the run game. He is a gap stuffer that may not make the play but will force running backs to have to change direction and hesitate, helping the linebackers behind him make the play and limit the yardage.

Ogbonnia may need a lot of work to consistently rush the passer but with a day three pick you are targeting a guy that does something specific well and he would be a great nose tackle.

Cleveland Browns pick number 202- Daniel Bellinger, tight end, San Diego State

The Cleveland Browns have moved on from Austin Hooper, and though tight ends one and two are set they may look to draft a young player to develop. Daniel Bellinger is one of my favorite players in this draft, a perfect case of the statistics not telling the whole story. He played for an awful offense where his supporting cast didn’t provide him a ton of opportunities.

Bellinger could be the best blocking tight end in this draft, something the Browns could use more of in their scheme with multiple tight end sets. Bellinger has also shown a ton of athletic ability during his time at San Diego State and then during his athletic testing. Bellinger is the perfect example of a day three player with a ton of potential.
