Cleveland Browns late-round target number 1- Marquan McCall, defensive tackle, Kentucky

The Browns absolutely have to find a way to stop being pushed around up the middle in the run game. Too many teams are able to bleed the clock with a lead late against the Browns’ defensive front, Maquan McCall would help solve that issue. McCall is 6-foot-3 and 342 pounds, he is not a player that you are easily able to push around.

McCall doesn’t have a lot of ability against the pass rush at his side but he cannot be underestimated.

At 342 pounds he can bust out a really nice spin move that will shock opposing linemen because of his size. But his ability to eat blocks and clog the running games make him a great prospect for what the Browns need.

McCall has a good football IQ, he is able to read the play and see predict where the run is set up to go. At his size he moves well sideline to sideline, he allows the linebackers behind him to stay clean and roam around to make plays in the backfield.

McCall isn’t a complete player but looking at him in the sixth round or later you could have a nice role player to help stop the run.
