New Cleveland Browns wide receiver Amari Cooper is already active in the Cleveland community and making a difference to help support charity.

The Cleveland Browns new No. 1 wide receiver didn’t waste much time before he got out into the community to interact with fans and support charities.

Amari Cooper was part of a fundraiser that gave fans an opportunity to play catch Cooper, interact and receive autographs from the new Browns receiver.

The fundraiser helped support the following charities: After the Impact, CMA Foundation, God’s Love We Deliver, LBX Sports Inc, The Valerie Fund, Chance For Life, Ellis Marsalis Center, James Beard Foundation, Luanne Elsie Foundation, and the Tunnel to Tower Foundation.

At the event, Amari Cooper said, “I’m excited to be in Cleveland and can’t wait to get the season started.”

Cooper has pretty big expectations from Browns fans as the new No. 1 target for Deshaun Watson.

The Browns made a trade with the Cowboys for Cooper back on March 12, the first of many big moves by Cleveland this offseason. The Browns sent a 2022 fifth-round pick and a sixth-round pick to Dallas in exchange for Cooper and a sixth-round pick.

Amari Cooper, a four-time Pro Bowler, is one of the best route runners the league has to offer. In 2021, Cooper caught 68 passes for 865 yards and 8 touchdowns. Then in his 2020 campaign, Amari racked in 92 receptions for 1,114 yards and 5 touchdowns.

Cleveland will take some getting used to for Cooper with the unpredictable weather, and understanding the organization since Amari said everything he knew about the Browns prior to coming to Cleveland was from the movie Draft Day.

Next. Deshaun Watson would love adding DeSean Jackson. dark

The good news is, he’s waisting no time becoming a part of the city.
