The first two days of the 2022 NFL draft are in the books, let’s look at who the Cleveland Browns may target on day three of the draft.

Day two of the NFL draft saw the Cleveland Browns begin by trading pick 44 to the Houston Texans for three picks. The Browns first came on the clock at pick 68 and made three selections in the first round.

The Browns were able to address a couple of positions of need but still have a few others they must fill on day three.

Let’s take a look at how the Browns could fill those holes on the final day of the draft.

Cleveland Browns pick 104- Perrion Winfrey, defensive tackle, Oklahoma

The Browns enter the final day of the NFL draft still needing to find a starter along the defensive interior and Perrion Winfrey may fall perfectly into their lap. Winfrey was once projected to go as early as the late first round but has seen himself still on the board as the fourth round opens up.

Winfrey is a monster in the pass rush as a 3 technique defensive tackle totaling 5.5 sacks and 11 tackles for loss last season. If you watch him at the Senior Bowl you will see a guy just manhandling players and throwing them out of his way.

He has the perfect blend of power and speed from the interior that would be exactly what the Browns are missing.

Cleveland Browns pick 118- Rasheed Walker, tackle, Penn State

At times the Browns’ offensive line last year was ravished by injuries and they saw the depth really put to the test. Despite hearing that Jack Conklin is healing well and re-signing Chris Hubbard adding depth at tackle may be a really good idea for Andrew Berry.

Rasheed Walker is one of the most experienced tackles in this draft and has been the left tackle at Penn State for the last three seasons. He is also a great fit having a ton of experience in the zone blocking scheme that the Browns also like to run. Having a player with the scheme and overall experience in case of emergency is never a bad idea.
