Cleveland Browns add D-line help in Day 3 Mock Draft
By Jacob Roach
Cleveland Browns pick 124, Daniel Bellinger, tight end, San Diego State
The Browns are likely still looking for depth at the tight end position and Daniel Bellinger is the perfect guy to develop as TE3. He’s one of, if not the best, blocking tight ends in this draft which could have an immediate impact for Cleveland. He likely could slide into the backfield as well to play as a fullback should the Browns ask him to.
Blocking is not all that makes Bellinger intriguing, he had one of the best athletic testing scores for tight ends this year. He played for a really bad offense and didn’t get to showcase much on tape but what he did show was a ton of raw athleticism and talent. For the Browns who already have two good tight ends, Bellinger would help round out that room nicely.
Cleveland Browns pick 202, ZaQuandre White, running back, South Carolina
Everyone might not see running back as a need but with Kareem Hunt on the last year of his deal and D’ernest Johnson, a restricted free agent adding one late isn’t a bad idea. ZaQuandre White is an explosive running back that has a second gear to help him run away from defenses. He comes from a running scheme that is similar to the Browns which will help with his transition.
He has good vision out of the backfield and is a pretty patient runner letting the lanes set up before exploding through them. White still needs to work on his game but as a depth that may be able to contribute if there is an injury, he will be a good selection.
