Cleveland Browns add D-line help in Day 3 Mock Draft
By Jacob Roach
Cleveland Browns pick 223- Jack Sanborn, linebacker, Wisconsin
Depth at linebacker is something the Browns could use as they get to the end of day three of the draft. Jack Sanborn comes with a ton of experience as a middle linebacker from his days at Wisconsin. Sandborn is one of the toughest players in this draft, he is always willing to lay a hat on someone and has a motor that never stops.
He isn’t great in coverage but against the run, he can read and diagnose relatively well. He is a player that also can be used as a Blitzer with above-average speed and athleticism. He would be a nice depth piece at the end of the draft.
Cleveland Browns pick 246- Marquan McCall, defensive tackle, Kentucky
Marquan McCall is exactly what the Browns need on early downs, a big lane-clogging tackle to stop the run. At 6-foot-3 and 343 pounds, he is a big strong player that anchors the line really well against the line and knows how to hold his ground. He still needs to work on his effectiveness as a pass rusher but as a late-round pick, he would be expected to do that early.
If the Browns add Winfrey to rush the passer pairing that with McCall to stop the run would be a great day three for the Browns.
