Cleveland Browns UDFA No. 2: Glen Logan, DT

The Cleveland Browns added Perrion Winfrey in the fourth round of the 2022 NFL Draft and he could end up being a starter right away for them. He’s a player who is a force in the passing game as he can get after the quarterback but he’s not known as an elite run defender. The same could be said for Taven Bryan, who they signed in free agency.

Overall, the Browns have several players who can generate pressure in the middle of the defensive line. What they don’t have is a big run-stuffer which is why Glen Logan could find a role in this defense.

Logan is a product of LSU, which is a school the Browns have often looked to when adding young talent. He’s listed at 6-foot-5 and 303-pounds by the university but he looks much bigger than that. He’s also known for his ability to shut down the run, which is what Cleveland needs along the interior.

Then again if he doesn’t make the roster, Logan has options. Back in December, it was announced he signed a NIL partnership with the WWE and could have a future in wrestling.

For now, he’s pursuing his NFL career and it’s hard to think of a better spot for him to have landed. He’s a name to watch in the preseason as Cleveland trims down their roster.
