As the Cleveland Browns prepare for the final stretches of offseason moves, look for them to try and add all of these three free agents.

With the vast majority of free agency signings over and the 2022 NFL draft in the past, the Cleveland Browns have a very competitive roster at the moment. And while I would typically be thrilled with a “very competitive” roster, things feel different for 2022.

Not only do they believe they have their franchise quarterback in Deshaun Watson, but they also have signed long-term agreements with key pieces like Nick Chubb, Myles Garrett, and Denzel Ward. Not to mention adding a superstar wide receiver in Amari Cooper this offseason.

For all the talent that Andrew Berry has added, it truly feels like this is a make-or-break season for the Browns franchise. In 2020 first-year head coach Kevin Stefanski led this team to greatness. The Browns not only made the playoffs but won their first game since 1994 taking down their division rivals the Pittsburgh Steelers.

After taking five steps forward in 2020, it felt like 10 steps back in 2021. Baker Mayfield had the injury, Odell Beckham all but forced his way out, and things just never clicked on both sides of the ball. The Browns 8-9 record was extremely disappointing, and the questions began about all positions of the team.

Most have been answered by now. Berry traded for Watson and decided to move on from Jarvis Landry and basically started fresh at wide receiver. The defense remains mostly the same, but a couple of young guys who started to produce late last season should really be in a great position to be difference makers in 2022.

With all that said there are still a few holes on this roster that need to be addressed. Expect Berry to continue to wait out the market for better deals, but he will certainly still be active before the start of the season. Here are three guys that still make a ton of sense to join the Browns roster.
