The Cleveland Browns 2022 schedule is friendly in the beginning, but there is a five-week stretch with four brutal opponents.

The Cleveland Browns were dealt a decent schedule at the beginning and end of the season, which is nice, but there are a few brutal stretches throughout the middle of the 2022 season.

The fact of the matter is the AFC particularly is loaded with talent in 2022. You may see one or two teams hit that 13 or 14-win mark, but don’t be shocked if 9-8 or even 8-9 get you in as a wildcard because teams will beat up on each other so much.

Below is the toughest stretch of the Browns schedule where finding a way to go 500 would be a huge win.

Cleveland Browns mos worrisome stretch — Game No. 1: Cincinnati Bengals

Starting in Week 8, the Cleveland Browns will host the Bengals on Monday Night Football. The Browns only have two games this year not at the 1 PM Sunday slot, and both of them will be at home which is nice.

And while the Browns have had success against the Bengals in the past, let’s not forget that they were the AFC representative in the Super Bowl just one year ago and have continued to improve their team, especially the offensive line.

The Browns can win this game, but it will be a dog fight until the end. The great thing about the Browns schedule in 2022 is they only really have one short week. And the Thursday Night matchup with the Steelers is in week three so hopefully, bodies are still fresh.

This Monday Night crucial matchup in week eight is followed by a bye in week nine for the Browns. However, the three games after the bye don’t get any easier.
