The Cleveland Browns have several difficult games upcoming in the 2022 season. Here are five games that will be some of their toughest

The Cleveland Browns may not have the toughest schedule this upcoming season, but they do have several contests that will test their mental and physical toughness.

Let’s be honest, for Browns fans every game on the schedule will be the toughest week in and week out just because that’s what it seems like when you’re a fan of this team.

The Browns rarely make things easy on themselves and each week a game that should have been an easy win on paper ends up being a struggle.

We’ll take a look at several games this season that will be a bit tougher than others. We’ll begin with our fifth toughest game.

Cleveland Browns Week 1: Carolina Panthers game

This is on our list first because this game is all about psychology and the mental toughness of a Cleveland team that has been mentally tormented for the past two decades because they can never win the season opener.

The whole issue is all about psychology. You don’t go 1-21-1 over the past 23 years in Week 1 because you were physically outplayed. It’s why Cleveland teams, in general, haven’t been able to win but one championship in the major sports world since 1964.

Beating the Carolina Panthers is a big deal if it happens. It will have helped reduce the pressure on future Browns when they start seasons.

On paper, this new Cleveland Browns team, led by new quarterback Deshaun Watson should roll all over the Panthers. But Carolina has the upper hand because of this psychological side plus it’s a home game and for any NFL team, winning on the road can be tough.
