Deshaun Watson surprising stat No. 6: He has thrown 27 touchdowns of 30 yards or more

When Watson looks to score touchdowns watch him go deep. Look for Browns wide receivers like Donovan-Peoples Jones and Amari Cooper to add to that impressive total of deep touchdowns throws by Watson this next season. Speedster and second-year player Anthony Schwartz may also get a few more opportunities with Watson behind center.

Deshaun Watson surprising stat No. 5: He’s thrown two pick-sixes, including one to a Cleveland Brown

The good news is that Watson doesn’t throw many picks and hardly throws the dreaded pick-6 that will hurt the team immediately. He did however throw one to a Cleveland Browns player a few years back when Jason McCourty, a cornerback took one back 59 yards in a game at Houston in 2017.

McCourty has gone on to play at New England where he earned a Super Bowl ring and now plays for the Miami Dolphins.

Deshaun Watson surprising stat No. 4: He has 10 game-winning drives in his career

Watson has collected all his game-winning drives between the 2018 and 2019 seasons. His most important game-winning drive occurred in the playoffs when his drive ended up beating the Buffalo Bills in a wild card game in which the Texans were down 16-0 before coming back and winning 22-19. Watson had three drives late in the game that amounted to two touchdowns and a field goal.

The game went into overtime where with three minutes left in overtime the Texans scored a field goal after another Watson-led drive to win the playoff game.
