Power Ranking AFC North WR Corps: Cleveland Browns can hold their own

AFC North WR Rankings No. 1: Cincinnati Bengals
Top 4 Wide Receivers: Ja’Marr Chase, Tee Higgins, Tyler Boyd, Mike Thomas
As hard as it is to admit it, the best wide receiver corps in the AFC North belongs to the Cincinnati Bengals. Then again, this could very well be the best group of wideouts in the entire NFL.
Last season, they added Ja’Marr Chase ‚ when everyone expected them to go with Penei Sewell — and he ended up setting the league on fire. Chase won the NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year Award on the heels of an 81-reception season that included 1,455 yards and 13 touchdowns.
Across from him is Tee Higgins, who also crossed the four-digit mark. Higgins, in his second season in the league, had 74 catches for 1,091 yards and six touchdowns.
As if that wasn’t enough, Cincinnati also has one of the top slot receivers in the NFL. Tyler Boyd caught 67 passes for 828 yards and scored another five touchdowns.
If there’s any solace to take, it’s that they don’t have big names behind those three. Right now, it looks as though Mike Thomas is the fourth receiver and he had just 52 yards on five catches last season.
However, the year before that, he had 13 receptions for 132 yards and his lone career touchdown — which came against the Browns.
While the Cleveland Browns pass-catchers can hold their own, they happen to be in a division that has two wide receiving corps better than them at this moment. But they’re still better than they were a year ago, and that’s a positive step.
