3 Defensive tackles Cleveland Browns should add before camp

Cleveland Browns DT Target No. 1 – Ndamukong Suh
I’ll be honest, I don’t love the idea of adding Ndamukong Suh to the roster. He has had a great career, but he has a ton of baggage that comes with him. He is known for being a dirty player, and it’s tough to bring that type of character into a fragile locker room.
Some may be offended I used the word fragile, but after the Odell Beckham, Jr. and Baker Mayfield issues over the last 12 months, it feels like the group may finally be coming together. I hate to see that momentum slowed down.
But Suh is the perfect fit for this defense. Not only is he extremely effective vs. the run, but he can also generate a pass rush with the best of them. And he’s extremely reliable as he’s only missed two games in his entire career.
At age 35, there is no doubt that Suh is in the back half of his career, but he could also have the ability to play a more limited role with the Browns. That doesn’t mean he wouldn’t play 75 to 80 percent of the snaps, but he won’t be forced on the field for every single play.
The Browns have some great young pieces at the position, but I still see it as a huge liability and hope they do something to solve it before the start of the season.
