The 2021 season for safety Ronnie Harrison wasn’t anything to write home about, which made it surprising when they re-signed him. He was still solid in run support, especially when played in the box as a linebacker, but he struggled in coverage and with some bad penalties. But Joe Woods loves to use three safeties a lot in his scheme so a solid year from Harrison is definitely needed.

Harrison is likely to be consistently the third safety behind Grant Delpit and John Johnson this year, a lesser role will make things easier on him. If he can return to some of his 2020 form where he was one of the better players on this defense it has a chance to be special.

Harrison has the speed and athleticism to make an impact against the mobile quarterbacks the Browns will face in the AFC. He has the talent the question is can he use it and cut out the costly penalties it will help the Browns have a good season.
