There were some big changes to the Cleveland Browns roster this offseason and these three players stand to benefit the most from those moves.

This offseason saw a lot of change for the Cleveland Browns, but unlike recent years with overhauls, this one happened to be a player-centric one.

While the coaching staff remains the same, Cleveland completely replaced their entire quarterback room while revamping the wide receiver and defensive tackle positions. Most of the changes are for the better — on the field anyway — and will have an impact on those who remained with the team.

Here are three such players, who will benefit more than anyone else due to the moves made by general manager Andrew Berry and head coach Kevin Stefanski.

Which Cleveland Browns players will benefit from 2022 offseason changes?

3. Donovan Peoples-Jones, WR

The Browns have a new No. 1 wide receiver in Amari Cooper — who they added in a trade with the Dallas Cowboys. With him in town, they released Jarvis Landry and while there were discussions about a possible return for him, those talks ended when they selected Purdue wideout David Bell in the third round of the draft.

With all these moves, the door is open for Donovan Peoples-Jones to finally break out. While he was the No. 2 guy for most of 2021, things should be easier for him thanks to Cooper being the top target. Cooper has the ability to stretch the defense, which will take some attention away from DPJ — who was the only consistent deep threat last year.

Throw in the fact that Deshaun Watson and Jacoby Brissett are both solid fits in the Stefanski offensive scheme and this could be a great year for Peoples-Jones.
