Cleveland Browns land their own Aaron Donald in 2023 mock draft

Cleveland Browns Round 5 Pick: Jaheim Bell, TE, South Carolina
The South Carolina Gamecocks have two solid tight ends with Austin Stogner joining them after transferring from Oklahoma and Jaheim Bell returning after a solid 2021 campaign.
In this mock, the Browns wind up taking Bell who had 497 yards and five touchdowns on 30 receptions last season. He’s not as well-polished as Stogner — who also has a rapport with Spencer Rattler who will play under center for Carolina this season — but is still well worth a Round 5 pick as the potential third option behind David Njoku and Harrison Bryant.
Cleveland Browns Round 6 Pick: Will McDonald, EDGE, Iowa State
After playing in just three games in 2018, WIll McDonald has become a fixture in the Iowa State defense. He also decided to use his final season of eligibility to return for the 2022 campaign which was a smart move as he tries to become a pro.
Entering this year, McDonald has 29 sacks with 22 of those coming from the past two seasons. In Cleveland, he could learn from Myles Garett — and hopefully Jadeveon Clowney — while serving as a rotational rusher alongside Chase Winovich and Alex Wright.
Cleveland Browns Round 7 Pick: Chris Murray, OG, Oklahoma
With their final pick in this mock draft, the Browns bring in guard Chris Murray from Oklahoma. Right now, they have some stellar guards in Joel Bitonio and Wyatt Teller but everyone can always use some depth.
Offensive line coach Bill Callahan has always gotten the best out of his players and he should be able to get the most out of the 6-foot-2, 298-pounder who started his career with UCLA before transferring to the Sooners.
