We continue to look at the Cleveland Browns rivals turning our attention to the rival Pittsburgh Steelers. The Steelers have a new quarterback for the first time in decades, which may lead to an adjustment period and a possible slow start.
But outside of the quarterback position being a question mark the Steelers again have plenty of talent on their roster. Let’s take a look at the three most dangerous players the Steelers have heading into the 2022 season.
Browns rivals: 3 most dangerous non-quarterbacks on Steelers
Pittsburgh Steelers dangerous player No. 3- Najee Harris, running back
The Steelers surprised a few people last season when they passed on much-needed offensive lineman help to draft running back Najee Harris. Harris played behind a struggling offensive line but proved to be a workhorse that could handle a heavy workload as a rookie. Harris had 307 carries for 1,200 yards and seven touchdowns, he also had 74 catches for 467 yards and three touchdowns.
Harris only averaged 3.9 yards per carry last year, but considering their offensive line’s struggles, it is still a decent number. He has shown that he is a power back that will not shy away from contact having 30 broken tackles as a rookie. The Steelers have made some offensive line improvements from last year which can only provide more opportunities for Harris to thrive.
Looking at the Steelers’ offensive roster, Harris is the biggest threat and the one your defensive game plan should focus on.
