Even with a lot of great starters on the roster, the Cleveland Browns will need these three guys to have big years to accomplish their goals.

The Cleveland Browns head into the 2022 season with a strong roster and one major question. While all the pieces have started to come together, we still don’t know the extent of the suspension for star quarterback, Deshaun Watson. Speculation is a decision on the punishment could push into next week, but it does feel like the end is near in this problematic scenario.

Cleveland has a very young roster which is great since a lot of their most talented players are still in their prime. They also have a mixed bag of veterans like Joel Bitonio and Jadeveon Clowney, but no one with a ton of playoff experience.

While the starting depth is as good as any roster in the league, champions are made with the second string in the NFL. If you can find one star in the making, it can make all the difference in the world. Here are three non-starters for the Browns who will have a huge impact in 2022.

Impactful Cleveland Browns reserve No. 3 – Chris Hubbard

Some of you may chuckle that I have the sixth man on the offensive line as one of the most important nonstarters on the Cleveland Browns roster in 2022. Why the big man?

Keeping the quarterback protected is the top job on any offense. The more time the quarterback has, the more effective they can be.

Chris Hubbard was once a very average starting right tackle for the Browns but has turned into one of the top swingmen in the game. It’s unfortunate that injuries have ended his last two seasons prematurely.

Last year the Browns offensive line was battered with nearly everyone missing at least a game. Those guys take a beating in the trenches so there is no reason to think injuries won’t happen again in 2022. While I knock on any piece of wood for good luck, Hubbard must be ready to step in. After two years of injuries, he could have a crucial role in 2022.
