With the rookies officially reporting to training camp on Friday, who are the three most important rookies to the Cleveland Browns success?

Football is officially back, as rookies for the Cleveland Browns will report to training camp on Friday, with the veterans set to show up on the 26th.

Even after trading back in the draft, the Browns still have a very intriguing class coming to town. Depth might be one thing, but it feels like the front office addressed every position they really needed to this offseason.

From defensive line to wide receiver, all the way to special teams, this is easily one of my favorite draft classes in a long time. So, who’s most important to the Browns success?

No. 3: Perrion Winfrey

Finally, the Browns and Perrion Winfrey were able to strike a deal, as just this week they agreed on his rookie contract — completing the signing of the entire class.

The defensive line was easily one of — if not the top — need for Cleveland entering this offseason, and this pick has tons of upside to it. Winfrey was ranked 81st overall on PFF’s Big Board, and the Browns got him at pick No. 108 in the fourth round. The value is just insane, and the selection of Winfrey was a no-brainer for the Browns.

The Browns without a doubt still need depth on their defensive line. With rumors of a potential reunion with defensive tackle Sheldon Richardson floating around, we’ll monitor the situation closely, again with veterans set to report to camp next week.
