Football is officially back. Cleveland’s roster is one of the best in the NFL, but there are still a few players you need to keep your eye on at Browns Training Camp

Browns Training camp is officially underway in Berea, Ohio. There are several stars on the Cleveland Browns roster such as Myles Garrett, Nick Chubb, and Deshaun Watson, that we all know how they will perform in 2022.

General manager Andrew Berry brought in several players between free agency and the draft during the 2022 offseason as well. Some of those players helped fill the roster holes, some were just for depth. This helps for competition during training camp, and we should see some good battles. But there are always a few players that fans need to keep their eye on as camp goes on.

3. Perrion Winfrey – Rookie DT drafted in 2022

There has been a lot of hype around rookie defensive tackle Perrion Winfrey since he was selected in the fourth round of the 2022 NFL Draft.

Many thought he was a second-round talent, so did the Browns get a steal? Time will tell. Either way, the defensive tackle position is far from solidified and the starting position is there for the taking if Winfrey has what it takes.

Winfrey has a lot to work on and is far from a finished product, but the coaching staff believes he could be the guy. He had 5.5 sacks in 2021 at Oklahoma and 11 tackles for a loss. Some fans are hoping he isn’t Mack Wilson 2.0, in the sense of being likable and loud on social media but failing on the field. Whatever happens, it is clear that Winfrey has that dog in him.
