Browns vs. Jaguars live stream: How to watch preseason Week 1
By Randy Gurzi
The Cleveland Browns take on the Jacksonville Jaguars at TIAA Bank Field in Preseason Week 1
Preseason football is here and the Cleveland Browns will take on the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 1. The Browns are surely ready to get on the field and play some football — even if it’s an exhibition — and discuss something other than Deshaun Watson and his looming suspension.
Cleveland does plan to play Watson in the preseason but there’s no word on how much time he will get. Having said that, he’s been out of the league for a full year, so it would make sense to get him as much time as they can, without hurting Jacoby Brissett who will start the season.
Here, we look ahead to that game with all the information you need to see the Browns in action against Trevor Lawrence and the Jags.
Key Players
David Bell: Bell is a name to watch for on Friday night. He missed time with an injury but he’s expected to contribute as a rookie. This will be his first chance to show he has the offense down and can handle the No. 3 receiver spot.
Taven Bryan: The former Jacksonville first-round pick is a projected starter for Cleveland. How will he look with his new team? He might not play long but it will be interesting to see how he fits in Joe Woods’ scheme.
James Hudson: Offensive line play usually only stands out when it’s bad. Last year, a lot of the line play stood out. With Jack Conklin hurt, players such as James Hudson struggled. Perhaps in year two he will have improved, but we will know more after watching him on Friday.
