If the Cleveland Browns want to make a run in 2022, they could do so — especially if they landed these three players via trade

Every team has the same goal at the beginning of each season, which is to make it to the Super Bowl. After years of struggling to field a solid contender, the Cleveland Browns find themselves on the verge of doing so.

They do have some serious concerns when it comes to quarterback since Deshaun Watson is facing a massive suspension but if he is able to return in 2022, they could still find a way to contend. The key will be staying afloat with Jacoby Brissett under center, and adding a few more key players would be huge in that endeavor.

Here, we look at three dream trades that could push the Browns over the top.

3. Kadarius Toney, WR

A first-round pick just one season ago, there were rumors that the new coaching staff for the New York Giants was considering moving on from Kadarius Toney this offseason. Nothing materialized but that doesn’t mean the front office wouldn’t listen if general manager Andrew Berry called.

As a rookie, Toney had a slow start and finished with just 420 yards on 39 receptions with no touchdowns. Even with the low numbers, he’s a player who is still learning the position and can be turned into a serious weapon — especially if defenses are overly focused on the Browns’ rushing attack and players such as Amari Cooper and David Njoku in the passing game.

On top of that, he was a solid return man at Florida — something Cleveland needs after losing Jakeem Grant — and even threw it a few times. Kevin Stefanski would surely be able to find ways to use him in their offense and he could be good for a big play or two each game.
