Browns add deep threat at receiver in 7-round 2023 NFL Mock Draft

Round 6: Anfernee Orji, LB, Vanderbilt
Round 6 has been good to Cleveland since Andrew Berry joined the team. In 2020, he took Donovan Peoples-Jones, who has 78 receptions for 901 yards (18.8 yards per catch) with five touchdowns in two seasons.
Berry followed this up with Demetric Felton in Round 6 of the 2021 NFL Draft and he had 18 receptions for 181 yards and two touchdowns as a rookie. On top of that, he plays running back, wide receiver, and can return kicks — which makes him very valuable.
The jury is out on Michael Woods but the Oklahoma wideout who was added in the sixth round this season was showing out before he suffered an injury that forced him out of the first preseason game.
With all that being said, the Browns look to again strike gold late in the draft by bringing in Anfernee Orji from Vanderbilt. Some would consider Orji undersized at 6-foot-2 and 224-pounds but for Cleveland, he would fit in their scheme well — and the fact that he played safety early in his career should help in their never-ending pursuit of slowing down opposing tight ends.
Round 7: Jacob Gall, IOL, Baylor
With their final pick in this 2023 NFL Mock Draft, the Browns add Baylor offensive lineman Jacob Gall. A sixth-year player who began his career at Buffalo, Gall has played both guard and center. Adding him helps to build some much-needed depth behind some of the best interior linemen in the game.
