No. 1 – Will Fuller

The best option for the Cleveland Browns in 2022 would undoubtedly be Will Fuller. Of the players on this list, Fuller is by far the most talented, but injuries have been a huge concern. The veteran wideout had a great relationship with Deshaun Watson in Houston, but with the lengthy suspension, Fuller may not be as interested in joining the Browns this season.

Fuller is another huge risk. We know he can be a legit No. 2 receiver in the NFL, but in his six-year career, he has never played a full season. This includes missing 15 games in 2021 with the Miami Dolphins.

Clearly, the market isn’t there for fuller as he remains available, but will his price drop to what the Browns want to pay? Because the price should be right on a one-year prove-it deal, the risk is worth the reward in my opinion.

In a perfect world the Browns would trade a late-round pick or even a running back for Mims, and then sign Fuller to a one-year deal for $4-5 million with a lot of incentives.

It would be tough to move on from guys like Mike Hartley and Ja’Marcus Bradley who have shown some promise, but we must remember, that they have flashed in a room that lacks talent.
