The 2022 Cleveland Browns preseason is in the books and their roster must be trimmed down by Tuesday at 4 pm, here is how it might shape out.

Just like that, the 2022 Cleveland Browns preseason is in the books and it is time to turn the page toward the regular season. Likely the initial 53-man roster set on Tuesday won’t be the roster they roll into Week 1 with.

After other teams make their cuts there is a chance someone the Browns like might be available and make another move. Let’s take a look at how the 53-man roster could play out with the players currently on the team.

Special Teams (3)

Kicker: Cade York

Punter: Corey Bojorquez

Long snapper: Charley Hughlett

There really isn’t much question here after the Browns didn’t have much competition in camp for either the kicker or punter. Charley Hughlett has been one of the better long snappers in the NFL for a while now. This unit is likely the closest one of the team to a sure thing when it comes to who is a lock for the roster.

Cade York appears to be the real deal as he has shown off all training camp and preseason that he has plenty of leg. He missed a couple of long field goals in the preseason but made a 57-yarder against the bears, and a 70-yarder during warmups for that game. Bojorquez whose only major question was his holding ability didn’t seem to have any problems with it in the preseason.
