Cade York’s kick secured their first Week 1 victory since 2004. Now, they look to make it to 2-0 for the first time since 1993 as they try and continue to shed some of their embarrassing streaks from the past.
Here we look ahead to their game against the New York Jets and make five bold predictions.

5. Cade York stays perfect
The game-winner from York was a welcome sight but it was far from his only appearance on the day. The rookie was busy as he made all four of his field goal attempts and both of his extra-point tries. In the end, he was responsible for 14 of the 26 points, making it look as though he was a steal in the fourth round.
Of course, there will be those who say that Cleveland fans need to calm down since it was just one game. But they were saying the same thing as he was casually kicking 70-yarders in practice. They also said the same thing when he missed a long kick in the preseason, but he responded by just walking out as if nothing happened and hitting the next one.
York proved he has the right demeanor to go along with the talent. He’s not easily rattled and this first bold prediction is that he gets called upon several times once again and remains perfect for the season after two weeks.
