With the Cleveland Browns securing the Week 1 win it’s time to ask for more reader questions including if the team should be worried about the left tackle.

The Browns have turned the corner to Week 2 and the New York Jets coming to town for the home opener.

There are lots of reasons to be optimistic with the 1-0 start something the team has not accomplished since 2004. But there are also questions to be answered and it is time for another round of reader questions.

If you have questions for future Browns mailbag articles please send them to brownsmailbag@gmail.com.

Do you see Clowney/Wright/Garrett sliding down to DT periodically to help with the Browns lack of depth there? (@NJKujawa3 on Twitter)

That’s one thing you can always say about Andrew Berry, he loves to target players that have the versatility to play multiple positions when needed. It’s highly likely the Browns do this going forward in fact Clowney and Garrett took snaps inside last week against Carolina.

Though Wright didn’t last week if Winfrey misses Sunday’s game they may see a few more snaps inside to spell starters, Jordan Elliott and Taven Bryan.

Is (D’Ernest Johnson) traded before the bye? If so, what would that trade package look like? (@mannymaxwell5 on Twitter)

It was odd to see D’Ernest Johnson inactive last week in favor of Jerome Ford, although Ford is a good player he is unproven compared to Johnson. It feels like the team is likely shopping Johnson perhaps to acquire an upgrade at receiver/returner.

Likely if they move him it would be in favor of a player that helps the Browns this year at a weak position because the likely pick compensation will not be worth what Johnson can contribute this year.

Do we need to start thinking about left tackle for the future now? (@ConnorCastill10 on Twitter)

It’s too early in the season and Jedrick Wills is too talented of a player to give up on right now but there are some concerns. There are plays that look like his effort is less than 100 percent and some he looks just uninspired and maybe lacking in confidence.

Wills will likely not be benched any time soon because there are still plenty of really nice plays made by him. But as things stand if they don’t improve the team will not pick up his option next year. It’s time for concern but far from time to panic about the player.

Your thoughts on this receiving corp after game 1? (@Maclawre on Twitter)

They got the job done despite what the statistics say because of inconsistent quarterback play from Jacoby Brissett. Amari Cooper’s numbers would make you think he didn’t play well which was far from the truth he was excellent this weekend. Brissett missed him on more than one touchdown in the game as Cooper left the defensive backs in the dust most of the game.

Donovan Peoples-Jones really impressed and continues to be clutch when it comes to contested catch opportunities. And Schwartz did just enough to make defenses respect him and the possibility of a reverse and his speed in the open field. For game one it was a really nice step in the right direction.

3 problems the Browns need to fix before Week 2. dark. Next
