The Cleveland Browns are off to a 2-1 start but could be even more dangerous if they were to add at least one of these three players via trade

After three weeks, the Cleveland Browns own a record of 2-1 but it easily could have been 3-0 had it not been for their inability to close out their home opener.

Even with that loss, they’ve put themselves in a great spot early in the season and have been playing sound football on offense. Defensively, they’re a good unit but trying to shore up some communication concerns, which will be a challenge after losing Anthony Walker.

Simply put, they’re a strong team but there’s always room for improvement, which is why we now look at three trade targets that could put the Browns over the top.

3. Cedrick Wilson, Wide Receiver, Miami Dolphins

In 2021, the Dallas Cowboys had an amazing passing game with Amari Cooper, CeeDee Lamb, and Michael Gallup. There was also Cedrick Wilson, who was often overlooked despite posting 602 yards and six touchdowns on 45 receptions.

His performance was enough to earn him a three-year deal with the Miami Dolphins worth $22.8 million. Wilson hoped for a bigger role with his new team but that wound up not happening.

Not long after he signed, Miami surprisingly traded for Tyreek Hill who would be the starter opposite Jaylen Waddle. With them receiving the bulk of the targets, Wilson has just two receptions through the first two weeks.

He’s capable of more and Cleveland could use depth behind Cooper. On top of that, he’s been a weapon on trick plays going 5-of-5 for 100 yards and a touchdown when throwing the ball.

Kevin Stefanski has shown a willingness in the past to dial up such plays and with Jarvis Landry gone, Wilson could be their next weapon.
