Browns vs. Falcons: 5 bold predictions in Week 4
By Randy Gurzi
1. Amari Cooper makes it three in a row
Much has already been said about how the Browns completely stole Amari Cooper from the Dallas Cowboys. Jerry Jones has tried to spin it in a favorable light as the Cowboys owner claimed they couldn’t pay Cooper, which is comical since they have the cap room now and this was before dedicating roughly $22 million this year to Michael Gallup and Dalton Schultz.
Even with Jones trying this approach, the Browns have been the huge winners and there’s no way enough can be said about the impact No. 2 has had. Even in Week 1 when the stats weren’t great, he was putting on a route-running clinic and freed Donovan Peoples-Jones up to haul in six receptions.
In the two games that followed, Cooper has recorded 101 yards in each as well as one touchdown, giving him 19 receptions for 219 yards and two touchdowns on the year.
While the Falcons enter this one playing well against the pass, they’ll have their hands full with Cooper. This final bold prediction is that he finds a way to make it three games in a row with at least 100 yards and a touchdown as the Browns upset the home crowd with their third victory of the season.
