After a tough loss on the road, the Cleveland Browns head home to take on the Los Angeles Chargers, who are led by Justin Herbert

Everyone is ready to put Week 4 behind us and move on to the Los Angeles Chargers. That’s who will be heading to Northeast Ohio to take on the Cleveland Browns in Week 4. It’s a battle of 2-2 teams but they come in with different stories.

After losing by three to the Chiefs in Week 2, the Chargers seemed uninterested in Week 3 and lost 38-10 to the Jaguars. They came back out ready to remind everyone how strong their offense is as they beat Houston 34-24 to improve to 2-2.

Cleveland has gone back and forth with their wins and losses, taking out the Panthers and Steelers in Weeks 1 and 3 and losing to the Jets and Falcons in Weeks 2 and 4. They’ll try and keep that routine going, but it won’t be easy as they take on a great passing attack led by Justin Herbert.

Browns vs. Chargers Odds Week 5

Cleveland is an underdog in this one but it says a lot about the talent on this team that it’s just a three-point spread as of Monday. The Chargers are a potent passing attack and given the Browns issues in the secondary, L.A. seems as though they should be favored more.

The moneyline stands at +16 for Cleveland while Los Angeles is sitting at -184. As of now, the over/under is at 47.5.

Browns vs. Chargers Prediction Week 5

Cleveland lost in Week 4 despite Marcus Mariota completing just seven passes. Herbert can complete seven passes in one drive. He’s already thrown for 1,250 yards and nine touchdowns and with the Browns penchant for leaving people open, he’s going to add to those numbers in a big way.

Last season, he led them to 26 points in the final quarter against Cleveland and that was with Baker Mayfield throwing for 305 yards and two touchdowns. It’s not likely Jacoby Brissett has a day and Herbert could repeat his 398-yard, four-touchdown performance — especially if the defensive line is still hurting. If so, he will have all day to throw and this could get ugly.

Prediction: Chargers 34, Browns 20
