The first four games are over and done with for the Browns, for better or for worse. Here are the top three moments of the first quarter of the season.

Technically speaking, the quarter mark of the season won’t truly hit until the clock hits triple zeroes on Sunday afternoon at FirstEnergy Stadium, but that won’t stop the quarter of the season talks.

Four weeks have passed us by somehow, and the Cleveland Browns are sitting at 2-2, as is most of the league. Cleveland should be 4-0, realistically, but a couple of games got away from them and it is what it is at this point.

The season is far from over despite the gauntlet of a schedule the Browns face over the next seven games. Regardless of what happens next, here are the top-three Browns moments in the first quarter of the season.

No. 3: Myles Garrett Sacks Baker Mayfield on Back-to-Back Plays

If you are on social media and follow closely with the Browns, you will know about the civil war that broke out in regards to former quarterback Baker Mayfield last season. Myles Garrett is the franchise EDGE rusher who was eager to get after his former teammate.

Getting after Mayfield is exactly what Garrett did in the third quarter of the Browns’ Week 1 victory over the Carolina Panthers. Garrett was able to bring Mayfield down on back-to-back plays in the third quarter of play.

Ahead of the game, there was some slight back-and-forth. Garrett said that the relationship between him and Mayfield was “slightly complicated” and Mayfield released a gaudy “off the leash” t-shirt that didn’t hit like he thought it would.

There’s no love lost from most of the Cleveland fanbase for the former No. 1 overall pick and now both parties are far removed from one another. The Browns sit at 2-2 on the young campaign while Mayfield and the Panthers sit at 1-3.
