No. 2 – Kevin Stefanski

Let me set the tone from the beginning, there is no way that Kevin Stefanski should even be considered “on the hot seat” in terms of losing his job. Stefanski has proven himself to be one of the best offensive minds in the league and firing him would be crazy.

However, I do think he had a disappointing week as a head coach for a few reasons. Number one, he really struggled to get into a rhythm as a play-caller on Sunday. The Patriots took away the Browns run game and Stefanski had no answer for that.

But the thing that bothered me the most, this team quit on Sunday. I know these are grown men that make their own decisions but seeing so many guys just lay down is a very bad reflection on the coaching in my opinion.

I don’t think Stefanski has lost this locker room or anything like that, but he certainly needs to re-establish himself this week. When a team is crumbling as fast as the Cleveland Browns right now, coaching is critical.

There is no doubt that Stefanski is likely a top-five play caller in the league, now he must figure out the rest of the puzzle. There has been some adversity in the locker room previously that wasn’t handled the best, so he must fix this now before it gets out of hand again.
