2. Myles Garrett gets another strip-sack

One of the few bright spots for the Browns against New England came in the first half when Myles Garrett broke through the line and slapped the ball out of Bailey Zappe’s hand when he was trying to get a pass off. The ruling was that Garrett recorded a strip-sack and safety John Johnson III recovered the fumble.

A replay confirmed this call and Garrett became the franchise leader in sacks with 62.5 in his career — which is impressive considering how much time he has left to expand on that total. Unfortunately, the Browns were unable to do anything with the turnover. Despite being at the New England 38 when they started the drive, they turned it over on downs when Jacoby Brissett was stopped on a fourth-and-one attempt.

Beyond setting a new record, the play was huge for Garrett since it was his first sack since Week 2. He did miss their Week 4 contest when he was involved in a single-car crash and while he returned in Week 5 against the Chargers, he was dealing with a shoulder issue.

Now, he looks healthy and should be back to his game-wrecking ways. With that being the case, this prediction is that he gets after Lamar Jackson often, and records another strip-sack on the mobile gun-slinger. Whether or not the offense can capitalize is another story, but Garrett will do what he can to help them out.
