The Cleveland Browns host the Cincinnati Bengals on Halloween night. Here are five bold predictions for their Monday Night Football appearance
On the heels of a four-game losing streak, the Cleveland Browns will host the Cincinnati Bengals on Halloween as the two teams face off on Monday Night Football. It’s the first meeting of the season for the two Ohio-based franchises, and Cleveland has been in control of this rivalry for the past couple of years.
Cincinnati hasn’t been shy about saying this game means more to them because of that, which should make it an interesting showdown. Here, we look ahead to the rivalry game and make five bold predictions for Week 8.

5. David Bell will finally break out
Cleveland got some bad news when they found out David Njoku would miss time with a high ankle sprain that he suffered in Week 7. With their bye week coming after the Cincinnati game, there’s a chance he could miss just one contest but even so, it’s a blow to the offense.
Njoku has been playing very well this season as he’s developed into a complete tight end. With him out, Harrison Bryant will get the start but they’ll need someone else to step up as a pass-catcher.
That’s where David Bell comes in. The rookie from Purdue has just seven catches for 73 yards but did have a reception late on Sunday that helped the Browns get close to field goal range. He’s shown when the ball comes his way, he will pull it down, and this first prediction is that he finally has his “welcome to the NFL” game with at least five catches and his first touchdown.
