The Cleveland Browns losing streak was extended to 4 games against the Ravens let’s look at 3 areas they must improve in to snap that streak in Week 8.

The Browns are back at home for a primetime matchup with the rival Cincinnati Bengals on Monday night. After a 2-1 start to 2022, the Browns have lost 4 straight and are looking for answers to save their season before it gets out of hand. Let’s take a look at three areas they must improve in if they want to get a win before the bye week.

No. 3: missed tackles

Tackling has been an area of concern for the Browns’ defense all season and in the Week 7 matchup with the Ravens they logged 13 more missed tackles. Each week, simple gains against the defense get turned into explosive plays because of poor tackling. Though overall the defense seemed to play better on Sunday there are still far too many missed tackles if you expect to win games.

The biggest issue in this area is the plays that are missed by players that don’t seem to be giving full effort. Some of the players on defense don’t look interested to be out there playing and if the Browns are to snap this losing streak they cannot have that anymore.

Linebacker Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah looked like he did during his rookie season flying all over the field making plays including a massive forced fumble. If no linebacker Deion Jones can play like his former pro bowl self the pair may have a chance to turn things around on defense.
