Kareem Hunt continues to be in the news as a possible trade option for several NFL teams in contention. Will he be moved by the Browns after MNF?

Cleveland Browns running back  Kareem Hunt could still be on the move after Monday Night Football. With the approaching November 1st trade deadline looming the next day, don’t be surprised if the team parts ways with the former NFL rushing 2017 rushing leader.

The Browns are currently 2-5 and riding a four-game losing streak. Win or lose on Monday, they may still send Hunt packing to a contender, especially since there have been rumors this week that Cleveland is fielding calls on the running back’s availability.

Hunt continues to play in a crowded backfield with Cleveland as his teammate Nick Chubb continues to take most of the running back carries. Hunt is also in the last year of his current contract and has already asked to be traded earlier this season, so parting ways with the high-profile player might be best for both sides at this time.

Earlier in the week, it sounded as though the New York Jets were very interested but decided to go with a different running back in James Robinson from the Jacksonville Jaguars.

There are still other contenders that have been linked to Hunt, so let’s look at a few of these teams and see if any of them make sense.

Philadelphia Eagles

The Eagles are the lone undefeated team remaining in the NFL. They already have a solid running game led by a youngster named Miles Sanders, but the team could use Hunt as that savvy veteran in their drive to the Super Bowl.

Hunt has always been a useful receiver out of the backfield which would be huge in Philly. With all things pointing in the right direction for the Eagles, Hunt would be that added bonus.

Los Angeles Rams

The Rams were Super Bowl winners a year ago and they are in the mix this year too. They don’t have a great running game but adding a player like Hunt could give them that additional weapon on offense that could make them a serious contender again to win a Super Bowl.

Buffalo Bills

The final team in the Hunt trade rumors is the Buffalo Bills. They are led by an outstanding quarterback, Josh Allen. They don’t have a great running game but adding Hunt could give them that final player that could put them in the Super Bowl.

Last season, the Bills lost a heartbreaker to Hunt’s former team, the Kansas City Chiefs. There’s a good chance that these two teams face off again in the AFC Championship again this season. Having Hunt in a Bills uniform could be the difference in this battle.
