Cleveland Browns: 5 Bold predictions after the bye
By Randy Gurzi
2. Myles Garrett records 10 more sacks
In seven games this season, Myles Garrett has 7.5 sacks and has done even more than that to alter games. Against the Bengals on Monday Night Football, he set the tone when he tipped a Joe Burrow pass, sending it off course and right into the hands of A.J. Green.
From there, the defense continued to dominate and Garrett himself had 1.5 sacks and four quarterback hits. He was on fire all night and continues to be not only the best player on the Browns, but he’s also the highest-graded defender in the league according to PFF — and Joel Bitonio deserves some applause for being the highest-graded offensive player.

Garrett is also coming off the best statistical season of his career following a 16-sack performance in 2021. He’s not currently on pace to beat that total but this prediction says he will still find a way to do so as he records 10 sacks in the final nine games to put up 17.5 on the year.
That might sound like a lot but considering he has 4.5 in the past three games, it’s easy to see that he can stack up the stats in a hurry. He also has yet to put together an insane performance as he’s often done in the past — like when he had 4.5 sacks in a single game against the Bears in Week 3 last year.
