The Cleveland Browns travel to Miami for a game they need to win. Here are five bold predictions for their week nine matchup.

After a difficult first half of the season for the Cleveland Browns, they now come out of their bye week against the 6-3 Miami Dolphins. Although the wins haven’t been the splashiest, the Browns will travel to Miami which has won its last three games but remains in third place in the loaded AFC East.

The Browns season trajectory changed substantially last Monday Night when they-handily beat the Cincinnati Bengals. Had they fallen to 2-6 overall and 1-2 in the division, some suspected they would be sellers at the trade deadline. But at 3-5 overall and 2-1 in the division, Andrew Berry kept the roster intact hoping that the return of Deshaun Watson in three weeks would be enough to lift this team up.

Cleveland travels to Miami and Buffalo for the next two weeks and then hosts the Buccaneers before Watson’s return. If they want to remain legitimate contenders, two of these next three weeks need to end in victories. Keep reading for five bold predictions as the Browns travel to Miami.

No. 5 – Tyreek Hill causes chaos in secondary

If there was one thing I was wrong about this offseason, it was that Tyreek Hill would miss Patrick Mahomes more than the other way around. While I don’t think Mahomes has missed a beat this season, Hill has actually picked up his play.

Through nine games he has 76 receptions, 1,104 receiving yards, and three touchdowns. Keep in mind, the Dolphins have had three different quarterbacks throw passes this year because of injuries as well.

If there’s one area in this team that has really struggled, it’s pass defense. I’m not saying that Hill will single-handedly beat the Browns on Sunday, but fantasy owners should be licking their lips as he is set up to have a huge day. It’s safe to expect at least 100 yards receiving and likely one big play from the speedster to help keep Miami in the game.
