No. 1: Will the weather in Buffalo be the great equalizer?

Even coming off of two straight losses, the Buffalo Bills are still the odds on Super Bowl favorites. That speaks to their level of talent as well as the public perception surrounding the AFC juggernaut. The Browns enter their week 11 matchup with the Bills as a 9.5 underdog.

Given where the two teams currently are in their respective seasons, the Browns only being 9.5 point underdogs could be viewed as being optimistically skewed towards Cleveland.

However, this game is being contested on the easternmost shore of Lake Erie, and with that brings mitigating factors. Up to 30 plus inches of mitigating factors.

Heavy snow is being forecasted for Buffalo this weekend, with some forecast models showing a possible 31 inches of the white stuff this Sunday. How the inclement weather will affect both teams remains to be seen, but the ‘run the ball’ crowd could finally see their prayers answered. If the forecasts hold up, both Nick Chubb and Kareem Hunt could see career highs in carries.

Typically, terrible weather games tend to favor the lesser talented of the two teams involved. In this case, blizzard-like conditions is actually a good thing for Cleveland. But in the end, the snow won’t tackle the Bills running backs or stop Josh Allen from scrambling on third downs.

Plays will still need to be made despite the weather, just not as many as it would normally take to beat a team like the Bills.
