The Cleveland Browns will travel to Houston in Week 13 to face the Texans. Here are five bold predictions for Deshan Watson’s debut game.

The long wait is over. Deshaun Watson will make his debut with the Cleveland Browns this weekend and will face his former team, the Houston Texans.

All eyes will be on Watson as he takes the helm for the 4-7 franchise that just secured a huge win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Here, we look ahead to their Week 13 contest and make five bold predictions for the debut of No. 4.

5. Martin Emerson gets a pick-six

The Browns might not have made a selection in the first round of the 2022 NFL Draft — or even the second for that matter — but that doesn’t mean they didn’t hit a home run with their first selection.

At pick No. 68, they added Mississippi State cornerback Martin Emerson, Jr. who has been a force this season. He continues to shut down top-tier talent as he held his own against Tee Higgins in a win over the Bengals and now shut down Mike Evans in Week 12.

Emerson also has no problem showing his confidence as he was quick to point out that Evans got nothing on him this Sunday.

Against Houston, Emerson might not go against anyone elite — although he could line up across from Brandin Cooks who is a very capable receiver. Either way, this feels like the right time for him to make his first splash play in the regular season.

Our first prediction is that Emerson picks off a pass and runs it back for six — much like he did against the Jaguars in the preseason.
